Modern Hobbyist began as a creative outlet for hobby enthusiast Celine DeMaesschalck. Today, she specializes in watercolor paintings of wine regions around the world.
Your goods were packaged sustainably and with intention.
Orders are shipped in paper mailers or second-use boxes and, excluding the packing tape or plastic sleeves, all shipping supplies are eco-friendly and can be reused or recycled.
Packing slips and art backboards are made from post-consumer recycled papers. While you may find some stray marks, they will not harm your new piece.
Please contact Celine if you have experienced any shipping issues. Items lost or damaged in transit will be replaced!
Quality Prints
Digital reproductions (prints) are produced on Canson Infinity Arches paper. It has a cotton fiber base, natural white color, and such an amazing texture!
Modern Hobbyist prints are printed using archival methods. For maximum life, frame behind glass to protect your print from dust and other pollutants. Hang in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
Prints are created from scanned originals and finished by hand with a bronzy fluid ink and gold acrylic paint.

Modern Hobbyist shirts are digital reproductions that are printed directly to garment. Images stay fresh and will never peel or fray!
CARE: We recommend that you machine wash on cold and dry on a low setting. Light fading will occur after many washes. Do not use fabric softener or iron the printed area.

We hold our factories to the highest ethical and environmental standards. Our factories are annually inspected by a non-affiliated third party auditing company. Our China factories are WRAP Gold certified and our Pakistan factories are both WRAP Gold certified as well as OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified. WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the certification of lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing throughout the world. The objective of the Apparel Certification Program is to independently monitor and certify compliance with the following standards, ensuring that a given factory produces sewn goods under lawful, humane and ethical conditions.

In 2020, Gildan distinguished itself as a leading apparel company with its inclusion on the Wall Street Journal’s new ranking of the Top 100 Most Sustainably Managed Companies. Gildan ranked 32nd overall and claimed second place among only three apparel companies to make the list. This T’s fabric is prone to wrinkling, similar to linen and oh so comfortable! It is not as soft but very breathable. Gildan T’s are not made in USA.
